My current obsession is the anime Slayers. It's AWESOME! I haven't really watched or gotten into any animes other than Slayers (my childhood obsessions with Pokemon, Digimon, and Sailor Moon don't count). I did watch Lost Universe once, because it was made by the same people who made Slayers. It was good, but Slayers was a lot better.
My favorite couplings from Slayers are Lina/Gourry and Amelia/Zelgadis. They're just so darn cute together (especially Amelia and Zelgadis)! The only Lost Universe coupling I support is Nina and Rail. It goes without saying that Nina likes Rail, and I like to think that Rail likes her back and is just less obvious about it. Plus they remind me of Amelia and Zelgadis (probably because they have the same Japanese voice actors).
I'm also a fan of Star Trek, and a (self-proclaimed) Trekkie-in-Training. I own the first two seasons of the original series on DVD, and I'm currently working my way through Next Generation using Netflix.
